The 2nd XI play their home games on Sevenoaks Vine and compete in the 4th tier of the Kent League Cricket in Division 2.

 

The Sevenoaks Vine 2nd XI were a very successful side in the Kent 2nd XI Premier League before the league merger in 2023, most recently winning the Kent Premier League in 2012. 

​

For the 2024 season the 2nd XI will be playing in Division 2 of the Kent League for the second season following its restructure after the 2022 season.

​

In 2019, the 2nd XI finished 3rd in the Kent Premier League, falling 8 points short of winning the trophy, despite topping the table for the majority of the season.

 

The squad is ever improving and expanding, displaying a strong mixture of experienced senior players and young upcoming cricketers. A strong blend of characters within the squad makes playing the game extremely enjoyable.

 

The 2nd XI is the perfect platform for players aiming to achieve 1st team selection by providing them with plenty of opportunity to play quality sides at top Kent League grounds.

 

The 2nd Xl will work closely with the 1st team as both clubs strive towards winning their respective leagues, with both the 1st and 2nd XI training together, allowing young players to learn, hone their skills and put their name in the hat for 1st XI selection.
