Sevenoaks Vine 3rd XI went away to Chelsfield on Saturday. The Vine won the toss and elected to bowl. Gavin (9 overs 3 wickets 34 runs) and Tibbits restricted the top order of Chelsfield, getting a break through in the first over. 09.05 - 2nd XI V Tunbridge Wells
The 2nd XI travelled down the A21 to Tunbridge Wells for their opening game of the new league season. Having won Div 2 last year they were excited to start the season off well in Div 1 and embrace the new challenge. The first XI opened their premier league campaign on Saturday vs defending champions Tunbridge Wells. Winning the toss the Vine elected to bowl first, however a strong opening partnership from Tunbridge Wells and a few missed opportunities left the hosts chasing the game early.
